FAQS

What do I need to bring?

We recommend bringing clothing that is suited to the time of your visit. In May and part of June, as well as in September and October, it can get cold at night, approaching 0˚ Celsius. You should bring warm clothes during this time of year including a warm sweater or insulated jacket, full-length pants, warm socks, close-toed shoes, mitts, and a warm hat if you wish. If you plan to do some hiking, bring supportive running shoes or hiking boots. Bring your bathing suit if you plan to go swimming. Also bring all personal items (toiletries, etc.) that would bring to a normal hotel.

Are the teepees cold at night?

If you are visiting during the months of May, September or October, the temperature is quite a bit colder than it would be during most of June, July and August. The teepees have been recently equipped with propane fire pits which keep the inside nice and warm if you're visiting during the colder months. However, if you choose not to use the fire pit, the teepees still maintain a comfortable temperature, particularly if there are 4 people staying in a teepee.
